Importing users

Learn how to import users into your account using CSV files, text files, or manual entry. Future versions will also support Google Workspace, Office 365, and Azure AD.

If you want to import, link, or add devices under your company account, you first have to create users. These users will receive an invitation in their email inboxes, which will take them to a special page where they can set up their password and link their devices.

You have several options for importing users into your account. You can import users from a CSV file, text file, or by entering the emails manually. In future versions, we are also planning to add support for Google Workspace, Office 365, or Azure AD.

CSV file import

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the Users page.
  2. Click on the Import users button in the top right corner.
  3. Select the .csv option.
  4. Read the guidelines for the text file format and click on the Import file button.
  5. Click or drag and drop the file into the upload area.
  6. Click on the Review import button.
  7. If there are any problems with the import, you will see an error in each field. You can fix the errors and finish the import.
  8. If you're satisfied with the import, click on the Import users button.
  9. You should see a success message and the users should be visible on the Users page.
  10. An email will be sent to each user with a link to set their password and pair their devices.

Text file import

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the Users page.
  2. Click on the Import users button in the top right corner.
  3. Select the .txt option.
  4. Read the guidelines for the text file format and click on the Import file button.
  5. Click or drag and drop the file into the upload area.
  6. Click on the Review import button.
  7. By default, all imported users are given the User role. The username is generated from the first part of the email address. You can change the role, username, email, or position for each user.
  8. If you're satisfied with the import, click on the Import users button.
  9. You should see a success message and the users should be visible on the Users page.
  10. An email will be sent to each user with a link to set their password and pair their devices.

Manual import

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the Users page.
  2. Click on the Import users button in the top right corner.
  3. Select the Manual option.
  4. You have the option to enter the emails one by one (single) or copy and paste a list of emails separated by commas (multi).
  5. Once you're done entering the emails, click on the Review imported users button.
  6. By default, all imported users are given the User role. The username is generated from the first part of the email address. You can change the role, username, email, or position for each user.
  7. If you're satisfied with the import, click on the Import users button.
  8. You should see a success message and the users should be visible on the Users page.
  9. An email will be sent to each user with a link to set their password and pair their devices.
